Flex 4: Developing Rich Internet Applications

This class will provide developers with hands–on, practical experience using Flex. It is a four–day course introducing developers to all the primary features of Flex they’ll need to know in order to build a fully functional, well–architected Rich Internet Application (RIA). Students will learn how to:

  • Create the application interface
  • Dispatch and handle built–in and extended events
  • Retrieve remote XML data
  • Skin applications and components
  • Display content with the DataGrid and DataGroup
  • Create and utilize a typed data model

    Usually the new Flex certification exam does not come out until about 9 months after the new version of Flex is released. Where did you hear that the Flex 4 certification exam is coming out this summer?
